Medium-Deep (warm toned) and Deep (cool toned) are lovely on darker skin tones. Light has more of a peachy undertone that best compliments warm toned complexions. I’m pretty neutral and it’s the perfect match for me. Medium has more of a red undertone that’s best for cooler skin tones. Shade Medium is ideal for my pale to light-skinned girls and boys. The formula contains a unique oil-control complex that keeps skin shine free. Coverage is more on the sheer side, but it’s buildable and blendable. There are small, fine shimmer particles in the powder that don’t translate on to the skin. Estée Lauder – Bronze Goddess Powder Bronzer ($37 for 0.74 oz) – This is an amazing bronzer for those looking for a subtle, natural sunkissed glow. The highlighter is a shimmery pink that’s most flattering on light to medium complexions. The blush would also make a nice eyeshadow. I would definitely recommend tapping any excess powder off your brush before applying. I can make it work by using a light hand. The blush is a highly pigmented rosy peach. I think it would be best suited for medium skin tones. The warm sable bronzer is a little too orange for my fair skin. It contains a warm toned highlighter, blush and bronzer.

Sonia Kashuk – Limited Edition Face Palette Pretty Cheeky (Clearance $16.98/Regular $19.99 for 0.38 oz of product) – I learned about this cute little palette from Kathleen Lights. I wear Shade 010 Porcelain in the Maybelline cushion foundation.Ģ.

On the more affordable end of the spectrum, I also like the Maybelline Dream Cushion Fresh Face Liquid Foundation ($14.99 for 0.51 oz of product.) The Dior foundation has better coverage, but the Maybelline is a good drugstore alternative. Plus, the packaging is sturdy and oh so chic. However, I was impressed by its staying power. Dior states that this foundation lasts 16 hours, but I don’t wear makeup for that long so I can’t confirm or deny that claim. I wear Shade 010 Ivory. The formula is lightweight with buildable light to medium coverage and a luminous matte finish. I wanted something convenient to apply on the go and retouch throughout the day.
